The great mother of life ~ the sea  ~ where  starfish sleep and mermaids dream …

The Starfish symbolizes sky & water and is said to enhance healing and regeneration.

The beads are an eclectic assortment of Blue Lace Agate, Blue Topaz, Chrysocolla, and Freshwater Pearls with, Lapis Lazuli, Vintage Puka Shells, small piece of Coral, pale green Glass Bead, a small silver Bird and One Clay Bead with the words “The Sea” collaged onto it.

Using sterling silver, I created a wire wrapped bar of vintage fabric, fresh water pearls to show off the silver starfish pendant. Next I attached wire-wrapped gemstones to the main bar and added freshwater pearls, sea shell beads and gemstone dangles.

The necklace is approx. 18 inches long.

Blue Lace Agate is a gentle, calming stone that promotes tranquility, and is also believed to be a very protective stone.

Blue Topaz soothes, heals, stimulates, recharges and aligns the meridians of the body, directing energy to where it is needed most.

Chrysocolla is generally associated with peace and tranquility, as well as intuition, patience and unconditional love. Lapis Lazuli is a stone of protection and promotes harmony and deep inner self-knowledge. Freshwater Pearls are believed to signify innocence and faith.
